AFSA Americanism Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements

• Open to unmarried children, adopted children, or stepchildren of:

  • Active duty, retired, or veteran military members
  • Joint Services, enlisted personnel, and Commissioned Officers

• Applicants must be:

  • 23 years old or younger
  • Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Be either a 12th-grade high school student or a full-time undergraduate college student
  • Enrolled or accepted at an accredited college or university

Additional Requirements

• The military sponsor must have been a member of AFSA or its Auxiliary for at least one year before the March 31st cutoff date.
• The applicant must rely on their parent or guardian for more than half of their financial support.
