To qualify, applicants must be U.S. citizens, between the ages of 17 and 31 at the time of commissioning, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum unweighted GPA of 2.50 is required if applying while in high school. Applicants must have completed the SAT or ACT, take the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT), and meet the Army’s physical height and weight standards.
Additionally, candidates must agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard. Accepting an ROTC scholarship involves an 8-year service commitment, with the option to serve part-time in the Army Reserve or National Guard while pursuing a civilian career after graduation.
Applications for the first round are due by October 14, 2024, with reviews taking place from October 21 to 25, 2024. For the second round, submissions are due by January 20, 2025, and will be reviewed between January 27 and 31, 2025. The third round of applications must be submitted by March 17, 2025, with reviews scheduled from March 24 to 28, 2025.
