The Army Scholarship Foundation (ASF) offers annual one-year financial scholarships to qualified and deserving students, recognizing the sacrifices made by Army families. These scholarships support spouses and children of soldiers, helping them become future leaders in American society. As part of the application process, ASF seeks to gather a comprehensive understanding of the student and their family.

To complete your online application, you will need to provide the following documents:

  1. Parent or Spouse Proof of Service – Statement of Good Service for active duty or Form DD214 for veterans.
  2. High School Transcript
  3. College Transcript – If applicable. College students with fewer than 30 credit hours must submit both high school and college transcripts.
  4. Applicant Proof of Service – If the applicant has their own military service: Statement of Good Service for active duty or Form DD214 for veterans.
  5. IRS Form 1040 for Family – Pages 1 and 2 only. If there are more than four dependents, include a list of additional dependents.
  6. FAFSA Submission Summary – FAFSA Form answers and Student Aid Index (SAI).
  7. Color Photograph
  8. Essay
