The Caesar Viglienzone Memorial Scholarship honors PFC Caesar Viglienzone, USA, who tragically lost his life in Baghdad in 2006 at the age of twenty-one. His parents, Dennis and Norma Viglienzone, are members of the Marines’ Memorial and have attended numerous Gold Star Parents Honor & Remembrance events. Funded by friends Victor and Karen Linck, the scholarship offers one (1) $5,000 award.

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Have served honorably in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.
  • Be enrolled full-time in an accredited, non-profit undergraduate program in the U.S.
  • Be a college sophomore, junior, or senior for the 2025-2026 academic year.
  • Have a minimum college GPA of 3.0.
  • Marines’ Memorial membership is not required.
