The Gen. Carl E. Vuono Leadership Scholarship, named in honor of the former Army Chief of Staff, is awarded to students who are members of the Association of the United States Army and demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities. Eligible applicants include:
- AUSA Premium Members
- Association Members
- Their dependents—including children, spouses, and grandchildren
The application process for General Studies requires a one-page autobiography, a letter outlining your career goals, course of study, and degree completion plans. For those applying for completed coursework scholarships, you should explain how your degree or certification is being utilized.
Additionally, two letters of recommendation from school officials, such as a principal, counselor, teacher, or coach, are required.
