This award is for children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of veterans who served in the armed forces during certain eligibility dates for membership in the American Legion.
The scholarship is for undergraduate study at a 4-year college or university for tuition, books, fees, room, and board.
If your family happens to be stationed overseas, your child can apply through the state that is your home of record.
Award: $5,000 scholarships (3 per geographic region for a total of 15)
