The Student Veterans of America (SVA) and NBC Universal have partnered to offer scholarships for veterans pursuing careers in the entertainment industry.

The Comcast NBCUniversal-SVA Scholarship provides 2 student veterans, regardless of major, with a $12,000 scholarship each.

To be eligible, applicants must

  • be a current graduate or undergraduate students at an accredited institution
  • submit proof of military service (such as DD Form 214)
  • provide a resume
  • upload a transcript showing a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • complete the application with a short essay
