FRA's Individual Contributions Scholarship is awarded to servicemembers, their spouses, and dependent children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren—they do not have to be members of the organization.
Applicants must attend a US institution and not have received or will not be receiving scholarships, awards, or grants that pay tuition in full for the fall 2024 semester. They may be required to produce SAT/ACT scores.
Applicants must list their extracurricular school and community activities, and awards on a separate sheet of paper—if they have none, the must also state this separately.
All applicants must have two recommendations, one academic and one community, and their sponsor must be living. If the applicant is a veteran, they must attach a copy of DD-214 or a voided copy of front and back of current military ID card.
