Jeffrey L. Esser Career Development Scholarship

This scholarship is for employees of a state or local government enrolled in school part-time as an undergraduate to help advance their career in state and local government finance. The winner is invited to attend GFOA’s annual conference where awards will be presented. This scholarship is funded by the Government Finance Officers Association. The student must be employed for at least three years by one or more state or local governments in public administration, governmental accounting, finance, or business administration to help advance their career in state and local government finance.
