Marian Anderson Legacy Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies in music, with a focus on performance, composition, theory, or education.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be accepted or enrolled at an accredited U.S. university or college.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 (or the equivalent) is required.

Applicants must also submit a personal statement outlining their humanitarian or volunteer efforts for their community or country.

Preference is given to students from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania metropolitan area, in honor of Marian Anderson’s hometown.

While not automatically renewable, recipients may reapply for up to four consecutive years.
