This award supports spouses of active-duty or retired soldiers, as well as widows and widowers, in pursuing their first undergraduate degree. It is granted based on financial need and is available to both full-time and part-time students attending an accredited college.
Recipients may receive assistance for up to four academic years of full-time study or eight academic years of part-time study. Applicants must reapply each year, and spouses may apply at any time throughout the year.
