Detail

The Patriot Legacy Fund Scholarships are awarded annually to at least four qualified students who demonstrate financial need. These scholarships are intended for the unmarried children of U.S. veterans who have a VA disability rating of 10% or higher. The program aims to support dependents as they pursue their first undergraduate degree or certificate at an accredited U.S. academic or vocational institution. 

Eligibility

  • Must be 23 years old or younger as of April 30 of the application year.
  • Must be unmarried and a dependent of a U.S. veteran with a VA disability rating of 10% or higher.
  • Not currently serving in the military, including the National Guard or Reserves.
  • Must be enrolled, acceptedor pending acceptance into an accredited undergraduate or vocational program.
  • Must be pursuing their first undergraduate degree or certificate.
  • Must not be fully funded by other sources.
  • Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  • Must reapply annually for continued eligibility.
  • Children of current Board Members are ineligible.
