Specific commands, communities, or organizations can receive scholarships along with WOASF scholarships. It is possible to receive a WOASF scholarship and the following scholarship.

The Phillip H. Jones Naval Aviation Scholarship is offered by the Association of Naval Aviation. It is available to the children of Naval Aviators and Aircrewmen from the Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard. The award can only be used for tuition and required fees.

Eligibility

Applicants must be unmarried dependent children (up to age 23 at the time of application) of a Naval Aviator or Aircrewman with at least 8 years of service in naval aviation. The 8-year requirement is waived for children of Naval Aviators or Aircrewmen who died while on active duty in the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard.

  • February 1: Deadline for Pre-Qualification Submission
  • March 1: Deadline for Application Submission
