The Ruark-Wight Family Scholarship honors the service of Cpl Eric Smith Ruark, USMC (3rd Marine Division, WWII, including Iwo Jima) and LTJG Guy Eugene Wight, USNR (WWII and Korea). One $5,000 scholarship will be awarded.
Eligibility:
- Must have served honorably or be currently serving in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, or be the spouse or child of a service member.
- Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited, non-profit undergraduate or graduate program in the U.S. for the 2025-2026 academic year.
- Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Open to college sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students.
Marines’ Memorial membership is not required.
