For graduating seniors of a high school in Albany County, Wyoming who wish to leave the state of Wyoming. (GPA requirements vary according to awards).
About the Path Away Scholarship
The purpose of the Path-away Scholarship Fund is to support graduating high school seniors of any Albany County high school who wish to further their education outside the state of Wyoming. They can choose either an accredited 4-year state college / university or other accredited 4-year private / non-profit college outside the state of Wyoming.
The Selection Committee gives preference to Wyoming’s Hathaway Scholarship's qualified students. However, all graduating seniors of an Albany County high school who qualify for any level of Hathaway funds but wish to attend school out of state will be considered.
Academic Requirements
These are in addition to also meeting other Hathaway Scholarship requirements.
- Honors: Min. 3.5 GPA, ACT score of 25
- Performance: Min. 3.0 GPA, ACT score of 21
- Opportunity: Minimum 2.5 GPA, ACT score of 19
