Students must enroll for at least 9 credit hours each semester Students must be a Texas resident First-year recipients must meet Financial Aid Satisfactory Progress to be eligible for renewal Second year and after, recipients must complete 24 hours with a 2.5 cumulative GPA to renew the award Awarding is based on the date the FAFSA application is received. The priority of funding is given to residential students who meet the criteria first and demonstrate a need.
