Vet Center (Readjustment Counseling Service) Scholarship Program assists those pursuing graduate-level degrees in: - Psychology - Social Work - Marriage & Family Therapy - Mental Health Counseling The VA anticipates announcing and awarding the scholarships each Summer. The award will provide funding for up to 2 years of graduate-level studies.
Upon completion, individuals will serve full-time for 6 years at one of the VA's Vet Centers (see link below). There are 300 Vet Centers nationwide. The VA will be targeting those vet centers in areas with more than 5% veterans who live in areas with underserved facilities. Monthly stipend is currently $1,200 / mo.
