Patriots Circle members, Walter and Bonnie Leach, have established three Wesley Hammon Leach Scholarships in honor of Walter’s nephew, Wesley, who served in the U.S. Army during the Iraq War.
Each scholarship will award $2,500.
Eligibility requirements include:
- Enrollment in an accredited trade or vocational school, or a 2-year Associate’s program during the 2025-2026 academic year
- A focus of study leading to a viable career, with preference given to those pursuing medical or nursing fields
- Active membership in the Marines’ Memorial, or being a child or grandchild of an active member, or a student veteran
Applicants must meet these criteria to be considered.
